Welcome to the Minority Peace Corps Association (MPCA)  website. We are dedicated to promoting  community service and raising awareness in minority communities about Peace Corps and its many programs.

What We Do

Our Mission: The Minority Peace Corps Association is a nonprofit organization founded by Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of color, which aims to:

  • promote community service,
  • provide support and assistance to returned, and serving  Peace Corps volunteers and applicants of color,
  • enhance the awareness and participation of Americans of color in international experience, international careers, and international affairs.

Through partnership, special events and outreach activities MPCA strives to strengthen Americans’ understanding about the world and its peoples.

    Through partnerships, special events and outreach activities the MPCA strives to strengthen Americans’ understanding about the world and its peoples. The MPCA is also committed to lending its support to minorities involved with Peace Corps, including applicants, volunteers and their families and returned volunteers.
    This section is dedicated to sharing information from the minority community related to Arts, Special Events, Community Service and other activities that allow us to support the community of color.

  1. We can not believe we have been home for 30 days and counting from our Peace Corps tour. However, life in America has taken over our efforts in home and community. Great experience and great memories.
